Clinical Trial Innovation Summit Rescheduled - New Dates Confirmed

In light of evolving updates and concerns around the coronavirus, the Clinical Trial Innovation Summit has been rescheduled for November 10-11, 2020 at a NEW venue, the Seaport Hotel in Boston, MA. These new dates provide us the opportunity to deliver the quality event that you expect from CHI, and a safe environment for our attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and staff.

Over the coming days, we will be working with all our stakeholders to ensure continuity for the event and will share more information with you as it becomes available.

 

RESCHEDULING FAQ

REGISTRATION

Q: I am currently registered for the Clinical Trial Innovation Summit and plan to attend the rescheduled meeting. What do I need to do?
A: No action is required. Your registration has been automatically transferred to the rescheduled meeting.

Q: I am currently registered for the meeting and do NOT plan to attend the rescheduled meeting. What do I need to do?
A: You may receive a voucher towards a future event, valid two years and transferable to a colleague, or transfer your registration to another event by sending an email to reg@healthtech.com. We try to process all requests within 30 days, but because of an increase in the number of inquiries, processing may take longer than normal. 

Q: I had cancelled my registration for the meeting, but I would like to attend the rescheduled meeting. Can I reinstate my registration?
A: Yes. You can send a request to reg@healthtech.com to have your registration reinstated at the original rate. Reinstatement requests can be made any time prior to the start of the event.

Q: I had cancelled my registration for the Clinical Trial Innovation Summit and am unable to determine whether I can attend the rescheduled meeting at this time. Can I register at a later date?

HOTEL & TRAVEL

Q: I have a hotel reservation for the conference. Do I need to cancel my hotel room?
A: Any hotel reservation booked, using the conference provided hotel reservation link (on the conference website travel page), will be cancelled automatically without penalty. The hotel will process this refund as efficiently as possible however with the number of requests it may take a few days. If you have not received cancellation email from the hotel after 7 days please call or email the hotel directly 617-441-6555 or Christine.pan@hyatt.com

Registrants who booked accommodations through other sources or directly with hotels not under the group block must cancel their own reservations.

Q: I have a hotel reservation for the original conference and plan to attend the rescheduled dates. Will the dates of my reservation be changed automatically?
A: No. You will need to make a new hotel reservation. We are working on getting the new hotel reservation link for our rescheduled conference dates November 10-11, 2020 and will post them to the travel page on conference website. Please check the conference website travel page periodically for updates.

Q: I do not have a hotel reservation but would like to attend the rescheduled conference. Can I reserve a hotel room?
A: Yes. Once we have the new hotel reservation link for our rescheduled conference dates November 10-11, 2020, we will post it on the travel page of the conference website with instructions for booking.

Q: I have a reservation for air travel to the conference. Can I change my reservation and travel to the rescheduled meeting?
A: You should contact your booking agent or carrier directly and follow their guidelines regarding the changing or cancellation of flights. Many airlines are waiving change fees.

Q: I am an invited speaker and I have a reservation for air travel. Can I change my reservation and travel to the rescheduled meeting?

PRESENTERS

Presentation Status. Our conference team is actively reaching out to invited speakers to confirm their ability to participate in the rescheduled meeting.

Q: I was scheduled to present at the original Clinical Trial Innovation Summit, but I cancelled my presentation before the meeting was postponed. If I am able to attend the rescheduled meeting, can I be included in the program?
A: Yes. Our conference team is actively reaching out to cancelled speakers to alert them to the date change, and assess their availability to join the rescheduled program. 

Q: I was not able to present at the original Clinical Trial Innovation Summit, but would be interested in participating in the rescheduled meeting. What do I need to do?
A: We are hoping to maintain as much of the original programming as possible. If we do need additional proposals, we will reopen a call for papers on our event website, and welcome you to submit for consideration at that time.

Q: What do we do about our shipments for rescheduled events?
A: Please hold off shipping any materials until we are able to provide you with new deadlines.

Q: Should I still update my presentation information?
A: Yes, please, as we promote presentations on our online agenda and online PDF.

A: We are still working on finalizing deadline. As soon as we know, we will make sure this is communicated.
